Antonio Adames

Antonio Adames joined Fortuna Mining as Country Head of Mansfield Minera in Argentina in 2024. He has four decades of mining industry experience with a solid track record of operational excellence and execution, consistently demonstrating the ability to add value by maximizing free cash flow at operations across the multiple countries he has worked in.

Antonio has held progressively senior positions with various mining companies, including Project Director and Development for Endeavor Silver, COO for Golden Sun, General Manager for Veladero with Barrick Gold, and Vice President of Latinoamérica Operations for Coeur Mining. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, a Post-Graduate in Quality and Production Management from the Instituto Tecnológico Santo Domingo, a Masters in Civil Engineering, Foundation, and Contention Structures from the Global Institute of Technology and Universidad de Carabobo, and a Post-Graduate in Tunnels and Underground Spaces from the Universidad de Chile.
