Neil Colbourne

Neil Colbourne joined Roxgold Sango, the Côte d’Ivoire-based subsidiary of Fortuna Mining Corp., in 2022, and was instrumental in the ramp-up to full production of the Séguéla Mine, leading the team as the General Manager, Operations. He has over 30 years of operational and technical experience in hard rock mining across several jurisdictions, including Australia, South Africa, Saudi Arabia, Zambia, Tanzania, and Burkina Faso. Prior to joining Fortuna, Neil was General Manager of the Inata Gold Mine in Burkina Faso – an open pit operation very similar to that of the Séguéla Mine. Neil holds a B.Eng. (Mining) from the Camborne School of Mines, United Kingdom.
