Nick Riches

Nick Riches is the General Manager Operations at Roxgold Sanu, the Burkinabe subsidiary of Fortuna Mining Corp. that operates the Yaramoko Mine in Burkina Faso. He joined Roxgold Sanu in 2018 as Processing Manager and was promoted into his current position of General Manager Operations, Burkina Faso, in 2021. Nick has over 35 years’ operating experience in Africa, Australia, and central Asia, with a focus on management, operational start-up, and process plant optimisation in multiple minerals. Nick holds a degree in Mineral Process Engineering from the Camborne School of Mines, United Kingdom, and a master’s degree in environmental technology from Imperial College, United Kingdom.
